I am having horrendous problems with Netbeans and Eclipse as an Integrated Developed Environment. I even tried Intellij IDEA which seem to be a nightmare to work with. I am now trying the free VS Code to see what happens as IDE for Java. It if t works out, I would probably replace Sublime for my Python code as well.
NOTE: In order to fix a problem I had with Eclipse, I resorted to a version from last year (12 9). This is strange I know but welcome to the world of Eclipse.
