Good for the world economy? Does copper increase mean is there another industry supercycle taking place?
From a Morningstar article:
LONDON–Chilean copper miner Antofagasta PLC (ANTO.LN) on Wednesday reported an 11% rise in fourth quarter copper production, taking the total produced in 2014 to 704,800 tons–above its forecast.
For the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014 Antofagasta produced 187,500 tons of copper. It also produced 82,300 ounces of gold at a cash cost net of by-product credits of $1.39 per pound.
