What do you mean install WordPress? This Tuesday I’m supposed to be showing my Quant Elite members how to use Qt for graphical user interface design. Well I may have spoken a little prematurely. As I try to prepare for this demo, it came out that the tool I was using Qt Designer is now obsolete. It was integrated into the bigger utility called Qt Creator which appears to be a pile of poop. I was trying to proceed with history, I came across more obstacles than ever to use this horrible utility.

Then I started researching about other web frameworks to use for a front end of a trading system. I looked at the popular ones for Python including Django and Flask. I quickly realize that none of these would work since I had to learn new frameworks which I’m really not prepared to do.

So what to do?

I started looking around for other charting web frameworks and came across a few including AM Charts which led me back to thinking about WordPress. So now here we are.
As I strongly hinted for people to be part of my Daily Digest, you would’ve missed all the other discoveries I made with this powerful tool. As you know you need to join up with it now if you want to follow what I do.
