First, a message from our sponsor:
I am keeping the Python Infrastructure course pretty affordable for the next few days. I am continuing to let you know that this course will potentially double in coming days! If things work out as described below, you will find this material will become pretty valuable. If you click the link, you can find ALL the details in this course. I will also be adding the latest learnings of crypto and Forex (for Oanda for USA residents) to get you running to have your own ‘crude algo trading system.’ One popular request is a simple video to showcase a very very primitive but simple system capturing data, set up a simple strategy, and do the automated trading. Again, just click the link below to get further details or if you want to proceed learning more.
It is predicted that volatility will kick into high gear in the near term. Volatility in forex is where you make money. With potential trade wars kicking in, some will benefit from this especially if they have a robust, automated strategy to handle it.
I am not sure if volatility will affect crypto. When you look at the sudden 7% rise of Bitcoin 2 days while it drops off yesterday, these are some classic examples of vol. Some even say that the volatility in other asset classes may drive others into crypto currency since it could be seen as a safe haven. Go figure huh? Just remember this new strategy I have worked makes me somewhat prepared.

How useful are peaks or pivots for trading charts from Python
I was warned about these. Unless you can use these for forward looking purposes, these are not that useful. I can always be wrong but maybe this could be useful.
Update: Someone on my Telegram revealed about PivotBoss. After thinking this is just another frat boy teaching trading, I realized there is more to know after watching a few seconds of this person’s videos.
More human traders have shown me how to use these things. It is quite fascinating that this can be useful is many ways you will not find online. I am learning this from other automated and human traders like you who have been using these techniques for decades. I am hoping to expand this topic among trading patterns, flag/pennants, and wedges. There will be more to come.
Here is another source from someone else so thanks to them
Guide to Running Tensorflow Machine Learning Models on Android
I was amazed by this Youtube channel source revealing this combo. It actually made me rethink on the future of mobile but Google is doing a decent job to convert machine learning models from desktop to cloud and even mobile. Even the author of this Youtube channel seems to mock the artificial intelligence application of Apple. As you know, I love Apple but these kind of videos make me rethink my ML development strategy.
Now, if you have been watching my Instagram account, a chart went up that proved machine learning is NOT outperforming standard methodologies by pros to look at the markets. This does NOT mean ML is valid, it means you need to apply the right uses for it. This includes real time analysis against your portfolio or high speed bid/ask trading strategies. Can you analyze like this as human? I do not think so.
Have you seen my last high performing charts from Bitcoin, Emerging Markets, and agriculture. If you had traded these, you could have been well onto your way for retirement. Check out my 20 minute video I just posted.
What more can I say within this video? I would take advantage of my deal for my Quant Analytics service https://quantlabs.net/blog/2017/07/incredible-trading-performance-calls-from-my-analysis/
It is quite telling on my Analytics Service I launched a few months ago.
I also have listened to a number of you on how you don’t want a service that automatically renews each month. As a result, I am offering new subscription ‘levels’. If you did not take advantage of last weeks 3 month, well I have extended the term for 7 months for the price of 5. As you know, this will not be promoted forever.
While most hedge funds are suffering this year due to poor performance, a high profile list highlighted half of the most successful were driven by computer models. These are also using quantitative analysis techniques as well. What does that mean? The old-school way of running hedge funds is quickly withering away. This is another way of saying human traders are losing ground against the robots which obviously includes high-frequency trading shops as well.
Last year, David Siegel, cofounder of Two Sigma Investments, one of those quants, announced that one day “no human investment manager will be able to beat the computer“. Siegel, himself a computer scientist, now manages more than $35bn, and qualified for Alpha’s “rich list” for the first time this year. He debuted at No 7 with estimated 2015 earnings of $500m.
Video on how to install Google TensorFlow into Python 3
I falled to install Redis 4 with this library
It might be wise to separate the two libraries. I did try to install LUA with Torch Machine Learning library but running Redis with the Lua script with a ‘require’ for Torch failed. The Redis execution of this combo will fail since it does not recognize other libraries including Torch with the Lua require statement for the library.
As a result, you will need to use TensorFlow with a script with separate Redis call to handle the data for request or pushing in the data. As a result, it will be difficult to embed a machine learning functionality script (with Torch) with Redis to embed. it seems very strict to not enable this.
This video is only useful to how to install TensorFlow into your Python 2 or 3 environment.
