Coinbase adds ZRX so the algo cryptocurrency bot caught 10% move

There was big news on this coin ZRX being added to Coinbase. I showed the high volumes over the last few days that lead into taking a nice 10% move just before midnight. Even the nice moving bars found on Binance would have taken on some extra profit but my system is extra careful. I don’t want it to take on positions that shows risky moves with highly volatile crypto pairs. I explain this all in ten minute video below.

It also showcases that this system is getting better at capturing fast moving, highly liquid, and highly volume crypto pairs. At the same time, you don’t want it to take on very choppy pairs like what happened with XRP (Ripple) a few weeks ago. We are definitely getting close to something that is more than useful for crypto trading.

If you are interested in the new Analytics service, I would recommend to consider this as soon as possible. As you know, I have this half price annual sale on for maybe 2-3 days. I am for looking at this Friday as deadline for it. If this system captures like this ZRX, I see no reason to keep it as affordable as it is.

Also, I will changing the access in the Analytics Dashboard to access the downloadable reports in one view. It makes it more convenient. You can see the details in this video shown below.

I will be adding much more sophisticated charts to this back in coming months. Not only that, I will be expanding the coverage outside of the crypto current asset class into others. This will include forex and CFDs for commodities and global stock indices.

As a result, get this service at its cheapest point right now! As you can tell, the value of it will go up week by week!

Support Coinbase crypto currency assets like ripple xrp

Instead of trying to use low volume cyrpto currency pairs, it made sense to focus on higher liquid pairs with a potential future. This would include the fast growing Ripple XRP. These are used as selected by Coinbase to support on their exchange or custodial service. Some of these have a great or even questionable future but I think following what Coinbase will support is a better.

Let me know what you think of either of these coins or the future of them?

Coinbase wants Crypto ETF with Blackrock

As a bunch of recent Bitcoin ETFs were rejected by the Securities Exchance Commission, it seems Coinbase has gotten more desparate to get a legitimate player like Blackrock involved. They are one of the largest asset managers on the planet.

Here are some highlights of this article: `

An early pioneer of the ETF market, BlackRock is renowned for its popular, low-cost iShares family of ETFs.

Bitcoinist recently noted that BlackRock had no interest in becoming a crypto fund issuer itself. Its CEO Larry Fink recently said the firm’s clients have not expressed interest in the $300 billion market for digital currencies and crypto assets. He referred to Bitcoin as an “index of money laundering.” It seems BlackRock will solely be advising Coinbase in its ETF endeavors.

A Bitcoin ETF has been viewed as a next step in gaining legitimacy as an asset class and could lead to the entrance of more institutional money into crypto markets.

A special note about Coinbase from my experience. At this point, don’t bother trying to use their Coinbasepro exchange. There is a little volume and will not work if their entire crypto currency selection is down. I would figure 50% of the time is that.

Another down crypto currency asset class day with minimal losses

This video is to show how you can have an algo trading system that take few bumps in the space of crypto currency asset class. The problem is you need to keep those to a minimum when you watch this video. As I keep saying recent videos, you need to minimize this or even eliminate the risk of these losses. As I mentioned in this video, you need to have a potential shutdown mechanism which puts your system to sleep for a while. You may need to wait it out instead of fighting falling knives in a particular asset  class. I am find I using my ‘risk on risk off’ signal more and more with no seeing myself depend on this new capability. It seems many pros use this as a way to protect their daily target percent moves or event daily profit target.

Are you the risk kind

Why take the risk of loss in a losing battle when the crypto currency asset class goes south for a while. I will tell this asset class is very volatile where it is in the extreme down but 12 hours laters, it is back up. Strange I know but you can make profit if the crypto currency asset class can come back within a few hours.

I noticed that almost 100% of people signing up to my list are wanting access to my Trade a like a Boss PDF. This leads  you the buy and sell signal of trading. My Quant Analytics addresses that

Bitcoin funding from ATM to Coinami Wallet to Coinbase

So the Genius in me has figured out to transfer cash to Bitcoin to the Binance exchange. I am so smart. As hinted as I originally wanted to fund a Coinbase account for their Coinbase Pro, they wanted a photo ID. I ain’t comfortable with that (for now!)

Is Coinbase easiest for crypto currency funding with new exchange Coinbase Pro API

Private funding but pricey

So I figured out that there is a way to do this privately via an ATM using a local service listed in the link above. You need to get a secure virtual wallet like Coinami which is listed above. It seems pretty simple to use but the ATM has difficulthy reading the Coinami wallet QR Code. The store clerk helped out by offering cheaper funding services. Thanks but no thanks. The transaction cost 10% which is pretty high. I thought it was 6% but it was only $20 CDN. As a result, I may get over the Photo ID thing to go with hopeful lower transaction costs on Coinbase. Can anyone offer insight on these transaction costs?

Once you got Bitcoin in your wallet, you can login into Binance to fund the account. It seems you just follow these instructions.

https://support.binance.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000622212-How-to-Register-and-Deposit-on-Binance

I can send form the Coinami wallet to Binance which apparently takes 15 minutes to 1.5 hours. It depends on how the transaction percolates through the Blockchain. More to come.

Is Coinbase easiest for crypto currency funding with new exchange Coinbase Pro API

Is Coinbase easiest for crypto currency funding with new exchange Coinbase Pro API

Screw Coinbase. I think the requirement to fund Coinbase with photo ID is something I am not comfortable.

As a result, I am going the anonymous route using LocalCoin. It seems a little safer without the need to sending out unnecessary documents to an exchange like Coinbase.

How To Buy Bitcoin

It is little more expensive to go anonymously but for now, I  feel more comfortable with this route.

I have an iPhone which means the future of crypto currency exchanges will be measured on their native mobile app support on something like Apple IOS. It seems at the time of this writing, there are only 2 exchanges worthy of noting who are on this. This includes both Coinbase and Huobi in Asia. Since Coinbase is trustworthy since they are regulated out of USA, they might be the ones to watch for newbies wanting to fund an account safely. It will get interesting to see the future how the new exchange Coinbase Pro will do as it appears to be renamed from the old GDAX. As a result, I may focus on Coinbase for small funding of an account. I also want to test their functionality for both orders and data. As you know, I have focused both on Binance and Bitmex but it makes sense to use a more trustworthy exchange like Coinbase. This is especially true when you are starting out with live money. Always remember to fund an exchange with a tiny amount you can risk to lose. For me, it will be tiny amounts like $20 Canadian. As it stands, I just want to focus only connectivity testing and basic low risk automated strategy that I have built over the last few months. This Coinbase Pro might not be the smartest choice for now, but it should be the simplest to test with live money,

As for the support with the CCXT Python package, I have found some sources that seem to make life easier when switching over to Coinbase Pro. It is confirmed to work with old GDAX as hinted in these links:

New Exchange: Coinbase #466

https://github.com/ccxt/ccxt/issues/466

New Exchange: Coinbase Pro #3210

https://github.com/ccxt/ccxt/pull/3214

GDAX Migration to Coinbase Pro

https://github.com/ccxt/ccxt/issues/3216

The volume for Coinbase Pro is tiny as compared to larger exchanges like Binance. It seems this will raise a concern for volume, slippage. Liquidity and so on. This is why you need to fund with a tiny amount you are willing to lose on.

Is Coinbase smartest exchange for Bitcoin crypto with algo Python ?

Is Coinbase best exchange for Bitcoin crypto with algo Python ?

Many people are convincing me to start looking at crypto currency’s as the next hotbed. Luckily for me, I have built out a really good set of people on my Telegram Chat Group over the last few weeks. It seems many there want me to trade in this space. I guess it’s time for me to jump on board at some point. If you have any wiser advice to give now is the time to share.

Here is some advise I got from this goup:

Enigma is a good project, but the team is a bit shady. They changed the hard cap of their ICO after the pre-sale was over. Talk about screwing over your investors!

Yes, all of the exchanges I’ve used allow you to access the entire order book through the API. So you can of course see the volume of orders at each bid/ask price.

Yeah, I normally use Bitcoin since all other cryptocurrencies can be exchange for Bitcoin. Occasionally I’ll use Ether but that’s only if don’t have any Bitcoin handy. Ether doesn’t have as many trading pairs as Bitcoin does.

I use Coinbase to go from fiat currency to crypto, but they only list BTC, ETH and LTC. I use Bittrex or Poloniex to go from BTC to other cryptos. I sometimes use EtherDelta to buy post-ICO cryptos that aren’t listed anywhere else.

So if I wanted to buy OMG for example, I’d buy BTC from Coinbase, then transfer it to Bittrex and buy it there.

Does this sound right?

I have more thoughts here
For all of my paying members as part of my Quant Analytics, I will start to focus on building out exclusive chart and reports for you all with the new data I will be acquiring through Dukascopy. Eventually this will lead to automated trading signals that you’ll get access before my system trades. I really want to go live faster sooner then later.
