You can download free webinars, trainings, and materials on simple and complex statistics.   -- I was able to find a basics stats class in berkeley that has their lectures posted. http://www.cosmolearning.com/courses/statistics-20-003-introduction-to-probability-and-statistics-478/ They use R in this course.   -- Did you google it? For reference materials about statistics concepts I always go to the online documentation of SAS and also Statsof ('statistica' package). I also use Wikipedia very often. Have to admit that I never searched for on-line (and free) statistics courses but it seems there are several related projects. With the internet and its powerful search engines, I believe that never before in the history of humand kind , knowledge was more accesible and democratically widespread as it is today and I believe that increasing availability of data, knowledge, and information will be the dominat trend for the years to come. Now add this to profesional social media like this website and you have the convergence of colaboration and shared knowledge, which will leverage the expansion of our skills and capacities. There are powerful synergisms being created this way.
