Apple (AAPL) to report earnings after the close…

Will investors have a relapse of the Netflix (NFLX) blues?

Stock Market Watch Starting April 23: Will Apple (AAPL) Investors... nextcandle.com

Today after the bell, Apple (AAPL) will report earnings just like Netflix (NFLX) did on Monday after the market closed when it sank as much as 15% in after hours trading. So what's the problem at Netflix (NFLX) and should there...   == Would certainly buy Apple into earnings, and SS NFLX.   == Did anyone wonder why it dropped for 10 days with two including today's big up's? This is certainly anti-pattern, anti-moving average technical analysis. It's a hype or market play to me. I wonder what model would predict and hedge such drop's and swing's?

Does the syntax and functions of R the same as Matlab as popular Apple Ipad scientific calc apps?

Basic stuff I know, but does the syntax and functions of R the same as Matlab as popular Apple Ipad scientific calc apps? For instance, if I need to intgrate with Matlab, I use the int() function but R is integrate(). If it comes out of a symbolic calc Ipad app, it would be the same as Matlab. I have confirmed various Matlab function are pretty close to being 100% compatible with a scientific calc app but not in R. What gives? Am I right in this  assumption.
