Apparently, the DINI Group was correct when they said that they had the cheapest product on the market.
In that paper, there are three specific mentioned cards that have 10GBE and have SFP+ (which is what is needed for hft):
Dini 10GBE FPGA cost $5000
Accelize XP4S230LP-20G cost: $7000

5,000 for a single investment is not that bad, when you consider that software based solutions for HFT generally run at 5,000-10,000 a month.
