In deep MotiveWave trading platform overview

In deep MotiveWave trading platform overview. My dream has finally come true. I can finally use IQFeed data with Java on my Mac OS. I knew it was possible but now it becomes reality. Thanks to a support team member at IQFeed, they directed me to this lesser known trading platform called MotiveWave. It also runs with Java support on Mac OS.

In this video, I show case some features of this software. I can now build an execution engine for both Oanda and even Interactive Brokers now. I explain it all in my newest playlist on my Youtube channel at youtube.com/quantlabs.  Check it out all out.

Advanced technical indicators available

There are advanced technical analysis charts like Fibonacci and Harmonics. MotiveWave called these Harmoncs which is called Gartley. It includes the same ones I use which includes bat, butterfly, crab, AB=CD, etc.

It is also affordable to buy. Check out their manual PDF as well.

I have hired a development team who will build a sorely needed UI for the product, and easier way to run the software.
We will eliminate crap add-ons like Glean and other rubbish, and will provide release notes as part of the software.
There will also be a binary-only version of the software which will have many advanced features: such as charting, that will be for sale for a low price.
The proceeds from the sales will help cover costs to administer the open-source version.
Please notify all current Tradelink users.   I will be setting-up a user bulletin board and Wiki on the TradeLinkSoftware.com site.
In the meantime, users can communicate on this group.

This is a platform that will hold you hostage with big monthly payments which most of us cannot afford. Even if I could afford, I still would not want to be held hostage unless I have own and have full control of all aspect of my trading components. That is how I feel about it.
I just got a notice from a follower who asked me about this. There are more platforms out there with competition as fierce as never been seen. Personally, this is a race to the bottom and most are really trying to woo people as much as possible. I never really looked at this but when you have a high quality FREE open source trading platform like Trade Manager or even the older version of Tradelink, I will take those options over any other any others. Sorry but this is why I never got into the game of either software consulting platforms or even selling them. It is a race to nowhere as it becomes a horse race to nowhere.

As for the user, just focus on these platforms I mentioned and you shall be fine. If you are too lazy to custom code your own or hack one of these tools, you will be left behind. Remember those large retail stock brokers, they disappeared for a reason. Many day traders and retail traders are getting killed while it is not getting any easier for them. They are literally fighting for crumbs which I want to have no part of. Sorry. This is why I choose the path I am on.

Will OpenGL and Qt with C++ and Python lead the way for next generation 3D surface plot charting in heavy quant trading platform or HFT environment ?

I dare you do any search on yYoutube to tsee the ese libraries techniques. I aare you do any search to see how flawless the redering capabilities are as well as the the ingegious touch capaibilities. Who knew these were so entrenched in gaming and mobile platforms especially Android and now Tizen (Samsung OS choice). It is quite incredible but it really has advanced in the last year of 2013. These advanced videos dates posted reflect this. So…it brings me to the conclusion that this could be the choice of future devrelopment for highly advanced trading systems with a 3d effect. I think  this will be the resting spot with the exception of how Microsoft progresses in the future. Knowing Satya Nadella will most likely integrate these libraries into future core eidtions of .NET and Windows. Hey, Apple for IOS and OSX supports it. Check out the videos but most of all it is somewhat tue open source but I hope I don’t come across these about in my currrent view of my recent experience  with open source..

My experience with Python is a complete mess with all these IDEs and how to confusion with no set standard. I really hope it matures. There is also
