SQL Server StreamInsight does actually works with CEP for automated trading system purposes and maybe even HFT

Hi there

Finally. Is this the breakthrough I have been looking for on this Complex Event Processing challenge with this upcoming high speed automated trading platform:

SQL Server StreamInsight actually works with CEP for automated trading system purposes and maybe even HFT

I offer more opinions here:

Here is a debate of nosql RDBMS vs queues for cep in HFT or automated trading system

This was offered by the London Quant

Is VelocityDB this this best in memory NOSQL database for trading platform outside of MongoDB?

https://quantlabs.net/blog/2013/09/is-velocitydb-this-this-best-in-memory-nosql-database-for-trading-platform-outside-of-mongodb/

If you have followed me over the years, you can imagine the amount of solutions I looked for something like CEP with NOSQL, RDMS, R, and a long list. It seems this was pretty easy with my new fave  language called C#. It is pretty powerful and simple. I am really hoping I can close off the gap to complete this platform. Once complete, I will be doing a series of private live Q&A webinars on this upcoming platform for my QuantLabs.net Premium Members Once complete, I will close this off to the public FOREVER outside of the trading platform course I will be offering in the QuantLabs.net Academy. This will be the last and most affordable offering I will ever have. Many ask for discounts so this is the time to take advantage  of it.

P.S. Yes, I do post iterative source code releases on this platform. This also include the HUGE amount of hours in source code walkthroughs. It is kind of exciting if you ask me.

Will Microsoft SQL Server StreamInsight or KDB resolve my CEP needs in my automated trading system?

Will Microsoft SQL Server StreamInsight or KDB resolve my comple event processing aka CEP needs in my new customer high speed automated trading system?

From my Youtube messaging friend:

BTW, the CEO of KX Systems (KDB) is critiquing non- database integrated CEP systems here.

 http://www.hftreview.com/pg/blog/mike/read/5388/kx-systems-and-high-frequency-trading

So, basically, the only capable CEP platforms are kdb, onetick and deltix.

Confirms what the london quant has been saying, you can post this if you want.

I could see how SQLServer with Streaminsight could come into play for risk management for an FPGA system. Take the market data and the fix messages into the database and use CEP to parse them and reconcile the data to create position risk/size estimates and real-time P&L and order transaction visualization with panopticon. QuickFix can connect to SQLServer, and so can panopticon. Banzai can manually submit orders.
