Time Machine for DotNet video presentation (bonus license offer too)

Time Machine for DotNet video presentation

As promised, I’ve posted the video link of this revolutionary Time Machine for .Net presentation.

Check it out here

If you like to debug in heavy threaded applications, you’ll probably find this utility very useful. Even better, the author is open to other languages and operating systems which is quite refreshing.

Now here’s a special bonus I think you’ll like:

I have 10 complementary licenses to give away for one year service with Time Machine for .Net. They’re worth $300 each. (Yes, $25/month for  12 months)

All you need to do is respond to this email with one of the skill testing answers from the video above. The first 10 people who respond will get one of the licenses!

Again, the video is here

If you want one of those licenses, you need to act quickly to be one of the lucky first 10 responders. First come, first served! 😉

And one more thing …

I’ll soon be cutting the very generous bonus time on my Quant Elite member service. As it stands, I’m offering a huge 24 bonus months already. That’s a $2,400 value right there.

But I’ll be slashing that to 12 months shortly.

And as we approach the launch of my new analytical service, I’ll be reducing it even further… to probably three or six months.

So here’s what you need to know:

You’ll save $2,400 by getting the full 24 month bonus right now. Your savings will be cut to $1,200 soon. Which means you’ll miss out on a full bonus year of membership by not signing up now.

Get on this deal now

Here are the current pricing options:

MONTHLY: $97/MONTH: Click here

(I’m dropping this monthly option VERY soon so this will be one of your very last chances to get the monthly membership)

ANNUAL + 6 BONUS MONTHS ($600 savings): Click here

This is the most popular option!

And then there’s the …

BIGGEST SAVINGS with 24 BONUS months ($2,400 savings): Click here

Yes — an even better chance to get MORE free months right now. Take a longer membership and save up to $2,400 while you still can.

Find out more about what you get right here [link]

HFT like software architecture presentation with video

High speed trading software architecture presentation with video

In yesterday’s email, I wrote about a trading platform architecture I plan to implement in coming months. In fact, the development has already started and well underway with in the programming language of Python. When you add in the C++, it makes things real crazy with some huge benefits and potential!

Check out my 90 minute video presentation I did to my Meetup groups

As mentioned yesterday, there are so many limitations when it comes to your trading broker, your limited human capability, and basically your lack of knowledge in which insider pro traders are taking full advantage of all retail traders out there. I am speaking of course those that do Forex. It is a sad state of affairs, but the reality is there’s so many obstacles to make bank in today’s unregulated shoddy FX brokers. If you learned about this, you would either be embarrassed or real mad. I am!

If you want to fully modernize your trading capability, you really need to start learning about my “Algo trading course series in Python!”

Get details here

We are also in the last stages next week on the Infrastructure Building Blocks phase. Don’t worry though, all the lessons were recorded and archived. And yes, you get all the source code as it was always requested along the way!

Support 2:

Ebay: Tesla C1060-C

Deploy on FREE BSD

Not Linux, it is UNIX like with minimal base install. All source code project built local.

Redis NOSQL

OPEN SOURCE  in memory

Sentinel feature in Redis v3 support slave/master replication, failover, redunancy, cluster, etc

Could be used as a reliable message queue

Youtube Redis Playlist

Fastflow Multicore Framework

Open source framework

https://sourceforge.net/projects/mc-fastflow/

Fairly fast compared to other libraries including OpenMP or TBB

From: http://on-demand.gputechconf.com/gtc/2014/presentations/S4729-fastflow-pattern-level-abstraction-gpgpus.pdf
Highlights:

Pg 19 Different patterns you can use

Pg 20 Support for GPUs

Pg 26 Multi speedcore with GPU support

Pg 28

Comparable or better with OpenMP and TBB on fine grain

Comparable with OpenMP on data-parallel – really fast on streaming (especially very high-frequency)

Lock free etc.

Lessons from IQFeed API presentation

Lessons learned from IQFeed API presentation

I have put together a set of lessons on what I learned from the IQFeed API presentation a few nights ago. In short, if you’re serious about trading and market depth analysis this is the service you really need!

Check out my list here

Lesson in Pushing Redis to its limits

Over the last few days, I have come to learn about pushing the limits of Redis. It can tolerate a lot since it is quite fast. I really do think that this is a game changer in how you deliver your market data through an AUTOMATED trading system.

Check out what I learned in this valuable lesson

Here is what I’ve posted for my Quant Elite members:

I had to switch over from Postgres database to MySQL so I posted all the ways to connect into it via C Matlab and Java. Source code examples of each have been posted

A working demo of Simulink code generated C source with Interactive Brokers market data Java source via fast Redis NOSQL message queue

As you can tell, these last two postings will lay solid foundation for my upcoming high-frequency trading potential system that is being currently being worked on for my members. As said all source code is provided which is rather highly affordable.

Get it all here now

Here are all the benefits of this affordable membership

Lessons learned from IQFeed API presentation

Lessons learned from IQFeed API presentation

As Jim Simmons HFT math trader said at a recent interview, data is everything.

  1. IQFeed provide same amount of data as high end Bloomberg or Reuters service
  2. API tools (i.e. Java) offer great tool examples to integrate into deeper market data analysis never thought of
  3. Linux Wine will help to deploy IQFeed server and other tool into Ubuntu
  4. How fast data retrieval is which is crucial

Stats on languages for HFT trading environment job wise:

C++ 70% of hft software 25 % java but heavy garbage collection tuning so it might be turn off to focus on that 5% to function programming languages

All Linux based

More hft going to fpga for enormous performance boost

Simulink never mentioned for c translation to vhdl but we are in right track

Maxeller was highlighted

Linux Jitter was mentioned:

He kept mentioning jitter in Linux is problem to get lowest latency, using Java with garbage collection does not help
