Current watch list for forex crypto pairs NOW with trading bots #bots #cryptocurrency #current #ForEx #list #trading #Watch I was 4 for 4 on forex pick guidance on forward looking. It was no difference than last night as well. It seems what shows up on my forex watchlist becomes a buy signal according to Tradingview.com. Booya.  I am going to starting pushing out the pricing to report the trades on these picks for forex. It seems the CFD might be useful for some who watch this space but the volume is very low with Oanda. I also look at the watchlist for my older crypto strategy. it seems that was not looking great at all at the time. I will say there were at least 12 picks yesterday. They were all confirmed as buy signals yet again with Tradingview.com. I will start automating the the pricing for this older crypto trading strategy as well. This is exciting as the overall markets can still be traded even the major crypto pairs are down. Lastly, in this video I do talk about the crypto pairs which has seen stellar returns this year. This why I would watch this 30 minute video. Hedge fund trading strategy list

Hedge fund trading strategy list

Some of you know I do my video charting from Bloomberg daily which gets posted up on all my social media including Instagram. One story that caught my eye was how hedge funds performed decently for March. As my usual self goes looking for charts, I came across a very interesting one that contains all their trading strategy classifications. I’ve known about this for a while but finally I’ve captured it somewhere so I made an entire list of them.

Check out this list to see what types of strategies hedge funds focus on

As part of my list reveals, there are a few that retail traders can implement based upon on the usual limited capital they have. For instance, which is part of my “Independent Algo trading Business with Python course series”, two are listed that you could implement with. This includes managed futures and long/short strategies. There will be a third one I will implement but not share it publicly unfortunately which will focus on macro economic activity that impacts global currency flow. This is just another fancy way of saying forex trading or FX.

Check out the details of this course here

There are many benefits to using this but the big Takeaway is that I will be removing all my strategies after I teach them LIVE to my Quant Elite members. As you can tell, these will not be up forever as originally anticipated. I just don’t feel I need to give away the mother goose that lays the golden egg. In summary, you should jump all over this opportunity as it will not last for long. Take heed as this is the first formal warning. By the end of the summer, you’ll see a completely different website direction that no one else is taking. There is no point in competing against other resources that give away free information that gives paltry returns. I personally feel you deserve better than that.

Go here to get instant access to my course series I mentioned above

As always I’m sure if you’re interested in knowing the full on benefits so go here for that

Thanks for reading

Bryan

Ultimate motherload Python packages list for quant trading

Ultimate motherload Python packages list for quant trading

This is what I call the mother load of ultimate collection of Python packages and resource for quant and algo trading. They come from a person who has worked with Python for over 10+ years so a HUGE thanks to him for providing this.

Ok so first for timeseries storage, Arctic can be very interesting. It’s build on top of MongoDB and can perform very well. It should support Python 3 very soon https://github.com/manahl/arctic (it was only Python 2 until recently).

Market data are very compressible so it uses lz4 compression

This week Packt Publishing gives free books about machine learning. That should be something interesting for market data analysis

https://www.packtpub.com/packt/offers/free-learnin

I won’t say secretive because Matplotlib is nice for charting. See Sentdex video https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQVvvaa0QuDc2QjQOkZ4rtLYZVll_sZF

Ok maybe it could be worth to add some of https://pypi.python.org/pypi/yahoo-finance code to Pandas DataReader so it will have cache to DB

Redis is essentialy in memory storage

Mongo documents are stored to disk

$ python –version Python 3.4.3 :: Anaconda 2.3.0 (x86_64)

Use Anaconda as it comes with all scientific stack (Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn…)

Yes pandas, matplotlib, and numpy are compatible with Python 3.4

Scikit-Learn is also Python 3 compatible
