Family offices are such an ‘in thing’ where one of the big 5 Canadian banks wealth management divisions are set up in the same way. I tried to find the latest performance of this David Berkowitz but failed. Anyone got any dirt on his track record? News on new track record is below.

I never knew that $8 billionaire Jim Simons had a private family office after he retired from RenTech. He is still Chairman but has hired a big gun physicist for this family office.

No different then Steven Cohen who started his own family office built around his multi billion dollar portfolio, it looks like Jim Simons is repeating the process here. The question

is why does he need a physicist but you can read more about it here.

Well well well. It seems that the first charges have been laid for a person who likes to spoof the markets. This is a very bad thing to do but many unscrupulous HFT operators

do this. This was a bad boy and he should be charged as the CME has done.
