Eclipse Juno just had too many bugs to mention. It would not run the runtime after each build but Neatbeans seems ok with that. Just saying.

As indicated, I just build the solution using Ctrl-B so now it runs fine.

Best Youtube videos on C++ HFT development integrated development environment aka IDE  is Eclipse CDT for Windows Cygwin and Ubuntu Linux

Ubuntu Linux:

My view is to develop with Windows Cywin but deploy eventual onto target system on a Linux distribution like Ubuntu or Red Hat/CentOS. I would even look at Debian as that is a pure distribution.

You need to make sure the C++ code is can be cross compiled with the GCC on both WIndows and Linux.
