Everyone thinks it has better performance because it did 10+ years ago. I tried all 3 on a large project and Clang and GCC both blew it out of the water. Also the C++ standards compliance was way worse.
These may be optimized for this Intel sponsored Linux distro.
It usually comes up as one of the most performant Linux distros out there.
The whole idea is too keep both software and hardware 100% Intel to get real optimization,
