How to install Open JDK on your Mac OS not Hotspot Java

If you are using the MotiveWave .61, I understand the JVM used is Open JDK 13 not the Hotspot from Oracle. If this is the case, you may need to follow these tips to install OpenJDK not the Hotspot. I prefer installing via Brew install

Just ensure to use the appropriate version you want. Eg. replace 10 with 13 if you need. Or download via

My build for Windows and other operating systems seem to work ok except Mac for some reason. I also understand the MotiveWave developers use Mac as well so I should not see this exception. This is due to the Eclipse build exceptions I get:
