Microsoft’s Visual Studio developer environment coming to the Mac

Some of the comments in these links below say this new Visual Studio is just rebranded Xamarin or Mono Develop. If that is true, I would not hold my breath on this. Also, the focus of deployment of this code will be on Azure cloud not the desktop. That is a big showstopper for me so I will stick with native IOS development with Swift/Objective C.
