Have you seen this Google machine learning financial time series tutorial?

Honestly, this is an interesting way to use Python as it reminds me from when I played with Matlab years ago doing the same thing. You will get the same results using any language. In terms of machine language research, this all boils down to the same thing with same results. But alas, here is another attempt by Google.
