Get a NICE SALARY quant job?

I’m sending out an older article looking back at how Quant trading jobs have evolved in the last five years. If you ask me, I hear it is quite competitive to get a job in the field. As more schools offer this knowledge, there is more supply of candidates for these jobs. Also, I hear many people are getting laid off in the industry being replaced by experienced Quants and automated algorithms. I would be interested to hear what you think.

As we evolve, it becomes more important to become an independent implementing your own trading business. As you know, Dr. Ernie Chan’s book got me started. This is why I actually started my blog but I never thought I would influence so many people over the years.

In fact, I just posted my first module that I’ll present in my upcoming “indie trading business course based on Python and algorithms.”  Here is the latest description starting March 15.

Indie Python Algo Trading Course

Module 1
Programming Language Overview Pros and Cons

This includes some older summary presentations to cover all the popular mainstream languages used in automated/algo trading.

Required to be a Quant Elite member to attend.

Start Mar 15 at 8PM EST

If you’re interested in this course, I would highly recommend you to get started now to jumpstart your learning before this event.
