Did the USD retreat because this alert from this big FX aka forex broker

This was all according to OANDA
USD in Retreat Ahead of NFP
The USD continues to come under fire from slower growth concerns after a month of disappointing data. Even the last nonfarm payrolls (NFP) report that beat expectations did not help the dollar as the wage growth component showed a contraction of 1.7%. The new reality stated by the Federal Reserve is putting an emphasis on all components of the NFP report. An impressive number of new jobs and a reduction on the unemployment rate are not enough.
Understanding the U.S. Nonfarm Payrolls Report
Published by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the NFP report includes the total number of workers (excluding certain industries) that are added to the U.S. economy on a monthly basis. It is published the first Friday of every month at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. Of note, it affects all major currency pairs by ratcheting up FX market volatility.    >> Learn more about past NFP releases
