Is R with this open source package still make it relevant with  Linux C++ Qt demo

From an ‘insider’ conversation, it was surprising to find he felt R is still fast enough for HFT deployment needs. This brings me back to the idea of embedding R Inside a C++Qt Linux demo. ALso, you need to figure out how to implement with these all other ides floating around. Call me surprised with this statement
