A decent technical analysis trader magazine who trade forex, future, etc: My review Stock and Commodities Magazine

Today is the final of three reviews I plan to do with these mainstream Trading and Strategy development magazines. Although I am not a formal reviewer anything, I thought I would give brief overview of them so this is the final one.

STOCKS & COMMODITIES MAGAZINE

This is easily the thickest of all magazines I covered over the last few days. It focuses on technical analysis purely so don’t expect any advanced quant stuff.  Some of these articles are well thought out and somewhat innovative. I would not bet the farm on them but I do find they may be useful as a base for any future strategies. There are lots of really analytical examples in these articles. The funny things is there are quite of few strategies you know about so maybe it is geared towards the newbies.  The one take away I really like about this magazine are all the source code examples of strategies found for all major trading platforms.  Lastly, one thing to note is that the magazine has some questionable advertisers so that would tell me you would need to think long and hard before you start working on something within this magazine.

About caustic

Hi i there My name is Bryan Downing. I am part of a company called QuantLabs.Net This is specifically a company with a high profile blog about technology, trading, financial, investment, quant, etc. It posts things on how to do job interviews with large companies like Morgan Stanley, Bloomberg, Citibank, and IBM. It also posts different unique tips and tricks on Java, C++, or C programming. It posts about different techniques in learning about Matlab and building models or strategies. There is a lot here if you are into venturing into the financial world like quant or technical analysis. It also discusses the future generation of trading and programming Specialties: C++, Java, C#, Matlab, quant, models, strategies, technical analysis, linux, windows P.S. I have been known to be the worst typist. Do not be offended by it as I like to bang stuff out and put priorty of what I do over typing. Maybe one day I can get a full time copy editor to help out. Do note I prefer videos as they are much easier to produce so check out my many video at youtube.com/quantlabs
