Matlab can connect to MYSQL so I am dumping Microsoft SQL Server with their Java JDBC driver issues
As for my test and development for market data to populate SQL Server is being abandoned due to the useelss connection functionality between Matlab and SQL Server. It seems the crappy JDBC driver from Microsoft is pure rubbish for 64 bit Windows. Refer this to similar problems I have from Matlab 2012b with dexplore.
I did try the other suggested jtds but that failed to.
The good news is I can connect into my MYSQL using dexplore so guess what? Bye bye SQL Server. Nice database but no good to me from Matlab.
Please that note this important step.
NOTE: I have posted solution and guide for my QLN Membership on how to find a workaround for this.FACEBOOK ACCOUNT and TWITTER. Don't worry as I don't post stupid cat videos or what I eat!
