Access denied error with gcc or g++ for C++ in Windows Command prompt using Cygwin?
If you get a ‘access denied’ while running gcc in Windows Command prompt, you need to understand this is expected. It should run no problems in your Cygwin Terminal with just a plain gcc.
In a Windows Command Prompt, you need to run either g++-3
or g++-4
