Best to define what is ULL as this is fastly evolving. Sub 30 micros? <10? less than 1?
No matter what, dealing with ULL solutions, simplicity and minimalism rule the day.
As such I’d suggest ranking vs. voting as all are important. Here’s my order to start.
1) Regulation and Compliance checks, and build from there. Will drive data flows.
2) Proximity ( when dealing with nanoseconds, vital distances are meters or less )
3) Latency issues on market data and execution come from what you need ( #1)
4) Strategies need #2 & #3, algo help determines frequency and behavior to fulfill #1.
