Can any current Prop traders or recruiter list some essential requirement for a prop trader?
==
Most/All require a Series 7 License.
==
Are you looking for a Prop Firm to trade with?
==
Are you talking legal or philosophically?
One answer- good record keeping
==
Essential Requirement? A Record Card.

I’ve just started training in a Prop firm in London. The obvious question is “where are you starting from?”. Good luck!

I agree
But there is a chicken and the egg thing if you have not yet got a record. There are a few people on this group looking. Series 7 is not necessarily required outside the US. A firm or person(s) hiring you will let you know what you need.
Legalities aside, most people do not start making money right out of the gate. You should be in a position to live like a hobo or under family support for a few years so that you can do trades that make sense from a strategic point rather than just because you have to make rent.
If you are lucky enough to find several takers, try and pick the one with the best support – mentor-ship, tools. Don’t worry so much about the payout at first. If you start making consistent $, you will be able to dictate that to a large extent – maybe even going off on your own with your own capital.
NOTE I now post my TRADING ALERTS into my personal FACEBOOK ACCOUNT and TWITTER. Don't worry as I don't post stupid cat videos or what I eat!
