Could this be a great server for a high frequency trading HFT development/test quant development server?

I wonder on this one with the expansion of up to 48 gb of RAM. I would put in a few virtual machines with VMWARE for the different components. I won’t need to be ultra fast since it would only be used for development and testing. Let me know what you think:
