This does not exactly excite me minus the JavaFX. The London Quant likes it.
These new lambda features have been in .NET for a while so there is nothing revolutionary from a high level perspective. I will give Oracle props for updating Netbeans and once my fave Glassfish. But I am not jumping on it. Have fun to those that do. Python is now exciting me more than Java as it just appears to be trying to stay relevant to catch up.
