My name is Bryan Downing. I am the founder and founder  to this CashForLifeTV.com web site. What is this site all about? As being a developer for over 20 years and the love of capital markets, I decided to launch this site to blog about my journey of trying to be a quant analyst, quant researcher, or quant developer. It seems I like blending my knowledge of technology and the capital markets field. All the content I blog about is very unique and becoming influential as this site is now generating over 800 unique visitors a day to it. I blog about my interview experiences, interesting proposals on my Linked In groups I am part of, and all technology related topics including Matlab (a standard in the quant field), C++, Java, C# and other .NET languages.

I have worked in 3 major Canadian banks and had a brief ‘exposure’ stint at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. As it stands, I hope my experience and present day stories can inspire you to get a job or launch your own business in the quant field.  I also like blogging about financial product news as well.
